Introducing the Auditory MCP server and ChatGPT integration

Your sales conversations, ready to query. Connect Auditory to ChatGPT to find what customers said, review call summaries and uncover deal risks.

Try asking:

  • "What objections came up this week?"
  • "What did we agree on our last call?"
  • "Which deals need attention?"

The Auditory MCP server also brings these capabilities to other MCP-compatible AI tools, such as Claude.

You stay in control. No data leaves Auditory without your approval.

What your AI assistant can do

Once connected, your assistant can use these read-only tools:

  • Search transcripts: find what was said about a topic across all your calls.
  • List calls: find calls by date, attendee or title.
  • Get a call: read a call's attendees, AI summary, action items and identified risks.
  • Read a transcript: go through a call word for word, with speaker labels.
  • List deal risks: see the risks Auditory has flagged, across all calls or on a single one.

Answers cite the call title and date and link back to the call in Auditory, so you can always check the source.

The connection is read-only. Your assistant can't change, delete or share anything in Auditory. Because of that, we recommend allowing all Auditory tools to run without asking for approval each time, so your assistant can look things up without interrupting you.

Connect Auditory to other MCP clients

Other AI tools that support remote MCP servers with OAuth Client ID Metadata Documents can connect to https://api.auditory.co/mcp. They'll discover how to sign in automatically.

You decide what's shared

When you connect, Auditory asks you to approve two separate kinds of access:

  • Calls (auditory:calls:read): call details, AI summaries, action items and deal risks.
  • Transcripts (auditory:transcripts:read): the verbatim record of what was said.

Your assistant sees the same calls you can see in Auditory, and nothing more. Your organisation's existing call visibility rules still apply.

If you only approve call access, your assistant can still work with summaries and risks but can't read transcripts. To change what you've shared, reconnect Auditory and approve a different set of access. To stop sharing altogether, remove the Auditory connector from your AI tool.

Troubleshooting

  • "This account is not part of an Auditory organization": sign in with the account you use for Auditory.
  • "This account is not permitted to view call recordings": ask an Auditory admin in your organisation to give you access to calls.
  • "This connection was not granted…": reconnect Auditory and approve the access that tool needs, for example transcripts.
  • Accounts in several organisations: these aren't supported over MCP yet. Get in touch and we'll help.
